Our owner and founder, Lakisha Bealer, has more than 20 years of experience. Lakisha started her career in the legal industry in 1996 while completing her Associate’s degree in Business Legal Assistant Studies (equivalent to today’s paralegal certificate). She went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Accounting, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA).   While completing her education, she also worked in several law firms and financial institutions in San Diego, California and Birmingham, Alabama. Eventually, she decided to branch out on her own.

Agility Legal Solutions first started in 2011 as a paralegal service providing assistance exclusively to attorneys. However, as time went on, Lakisha found out that individuals who could not afford an attorney were the ones who needed the most help.  During the early years of the business, she created a free webinar called “The Paralegal as a Rainmaker.” This webinar was used to market our company’s services to attorneys by explaining the benefits that utilizing a paralegal in their practice to offer better client engagement and relations.  After offering this free webinar for some time, she noticed that a majority of those who registered were paralegals. Lakisha decided to expand these online courses to cater to their educational requirements and also to assist attorneys in earning CLE credits.  From this, a branch offering a few California State Bar-approved continuing legal education courses called Rainmakers Virtual College came to be. It is a separate business division devoted to further educating attorneys and paralegals and offering membership plans, paralegal certificates, and a paralegal certification program.
